Clubtickets Ltd - dance ticketing business expands
Clubtickets was formed in 2007 following a merger between two independent ticketing companies specialising in ticket sales for dance music events; Clubtickets.co.uk and Ibiza club ticket specialist Clubtix.co.uk.
Rob started the business from an office in Tower Hamlets. He has since expanded the business and moved to new premises and employs 8 staff.
The business was growing organically into a bespoke online ticketing agency with strong customer bases in the UK, Spain and the United States. Emerging markets include France and Egypt. At the time, Clubtickets had a 65% growth despite the recession and to further support this Rob came to ELSBC for funding,
Working closely with his business counsellor, Rob was signed on to the Access to Finance programme to review his business ambitions and find a suitable route to access the business finance he needed.
Through the programme, Rob succeeded in securing £50,000 for his business, which contributed towards the cost of a bespoke website. Since securing the finance, Clubtickets’ new website has been a success, with business in America showing steady signs of growth.
