Crown Bio reduces cost of soil contamination screening with its new easy to use ‘Safe Soil Tester™’ (SST™) which facilitates rapid and cost-effective onsite soil toxicity screening. With this technology, contaminated areas can be easily identified and treated. The London-based company developed the technology with the first sales being made to EDF Energy, CSG Lloyds Environmental, the Environment Agency (National Laboratory Services) and to LandPlus GmbH – German Consultants. CBT are also currently working with the Environment Agency (EA) and the Laboratory of the Govt. Chemist (LGC), to develop protocols and toxicity standards.
