Summary A new Bio-Polymer-Composite material that incorporates 2,800 tones of abundant waste material per year in the UK (Human Hair cuttings) thereby reducing the need for petroleum-based products. The material can be molded into any shape and is strong, versatile, waterproof, non-conductive and non-toxic. Combined with an appropriate bio-resin matrix it is biodegradable, recyclable and eco- friendly. Mechanical strengths of Pilius- X are stronger than glass-fibre and equivalent to carbon-fibre.
