Gateway2investment (g2i) is a programme supported by the London Development Agency (LDA) and designed to increase the number and quality of London based technology companies receiving investment. g2i actively supports early stage companies to develop their propositions, teams and pitches, and offers VCs and Business Angels early engagement with exciting new investment propositions.

At this event, 6-7 early-stage London technology companies will be presenting their investment propositions to an investor-centric audience made up of investors, professional service firms and corporates, all interested in young, growth companies. Typically the presenting companies are looking for investment in the range of £250k – £1m to aggressively build their business and take them to their next development or commercial milestone.
Companies that have pitched at previous g2i events have included Huddle.net and Trampoline Systems, both of which have gone on to gain significant venture capital investment. Past attendees have included representatives of significant investors such as Amadeus Capital, Atlas Ventures, Beer and Partners, Benchmark Capital, the Capital Fund, Cambridge Capital Group, IQ Capital, London Seed Capital, the London Technology Fund, MMC Ventures, NESTA, Quester and Siemens Venture Capital, as well as a number of angels, and a number of leading corporations such as BT, Microsoft, Oracle, and Vodafone.
