DrinkTank is a free, high quality, invite-only, meetup for members of the tech community in London: proven tech/web entrepreneurs, investors and contacts from within the extended network. A chance to meet, drink, chat, do deals and help solve each others' problems.
We started DrinkTank because we were fed up with events full of consultants trying to sell stuff and people who were either no fun to hang out with or weren't in a position to do deals! Instead we wanted to recreate the US west-coast atmosphere here in London - where the people running companies, members of the investment community and valuable contacts from the extended network can meet on a regular basis.
Each event is hosted by partners who have been recomended by members and who have proven that they can add value to early stage tech companies - which means zero entry fee, a decent venue and free drinks. There's no demo's, no 'educational' talks and no hard sales. Just high quality attendees, a decent venue and a relaxed atmosphere.
DrinkTank is invite-only. To register your interest, you must first apply to join & then be approved. Go to http://entrepreneur.meetup.com/1678/ to register. Once you have been approved you can sign-up for the first event on Wednesday 16th April.
