The Big Leap Competition

From April to August 2007, Striding Out is hosting it's next Big Leap Competition for ten budding entrepreneurs. The competition focuses on developing entrepreneurial skills in young people aged 18-30, providing them with a package of support.
UK Patent Office - New Name & New CEO

After three years as the Chief Executive of the UK Patent Office, Ron Marchant is scheduled to leave the Office in March 2007. The decision by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) not to renew his contract comes at a time when Intellectual Property is high on the political agenda.
